The customer picks the date, you confirm it
You enter the period, the skill and the length of the job. ServisBook calculates the free dates of your people, you untick what you do not want to offer and copy the link. The customer clicks the date that suits them.
The link replaces piecing dates together by hand from the calendar and holidays, and repeated e-mails with proposals.
A free day is really free
Free dates are calculated from real data: technician assignments, absences and blocked time. So you do not offer a date someone is already going out on. Dates from other running offers are left out when that offer blocks its dates, or when you turn on the “Only truly free dates” switch.
- The skill filter narrows the offer down to technicians with the required qualification.
- For a multi-day job the “Only consecutive days” switch decides whether the customer gets a continuous block of days or individual days separately.
- The “Only truly free dates” switch leaves out dates waiting for another customer's answer.

The customer opens the link in an ordinary browser
You send the link by e-mail, text message or WhatsApp. The customer opens it in a browser, sees your company name and the offered dates and picks one of them. No login, no installation and no password.
- The link address contains a random token; only its fingerprint is stored in the database.
- Technician names are shown only when you want that for a particular offer.
- After choosing, the customer sees a confirmation and your company phone number in case of questions.

You can hold an offered date aside
With the “Block offered dates” switch turned on, the offered times are held aside while the offer is running: they are not offered in any other offer, so two customers do not get the same date. Without blocking the dates keep being offered and whoever picks first gets them.
- In the Appointment proposals overview, proposals without blocking have their own badge, so you can see where another customer might get the date.
- An offer has a validity period – after it expires the reserved times are released automatically and the link stops working.
- When the customer chooses, the validity stops so their choice cannot lapse in the meantime.

Closing with one click
When the customer chooses, the response appears in the Today overview and you see a badge on the item in the navigation. You click confirm and ServisBook turns the chosen time into a technician assignment and an appointment in the calendar. The other offered times are released at the same moment.
- If the customer calls instead, you pick the date by hand; the result is the same.
- If they change their mind, you return the offer to the active state and the customer chooses again with the same link.
- Before saving, ServisBook checks once more that the date is still free.

Frequently asked questions
Does the customer have to register?
No. They open the link in a browser and pick a date with one click. They install nothing and log in nowhere.
What if the customer does not choose?
The offer expires after the set time, the reserved times are released automatically and the link stops working. You can also cancel it earlier and send a new one.
Will the customer see our technicians' names?
Only when you want that for the given offer, and even then only the first name is shown. By default the offer does not show names.
Can I offer a multi-day job?
Yes. You enter the length in days and ServisBook offers continuous blocks of free working days of the same technician. A weekend inside the block does not count towards the length and you can forbid it entirely.
Is the assignment created automatically?
No, a person always has the last word. The customer's choice shows up as a pending task and one click turns it into an assignment and an appointment.
