You see what is confirmed and what is still being agreed
ServisBook distinguishes a proposed and a confirmed appointment: a proposed one has a thicker dashed border, a confirmed one a thin solid one. When the customer chooses from a proposal, on the proposal detail you click Confirm choice at the date the customer picked, choose the appointment type and create it on the order with the Confirm and close button.
A multi-day appointment is one bar across the whole period. When moved, it moves as a whole.
Proposed and confirmed at first glance
You adjust the list of appointment types to suit you. The defaults are proposed and confirmed, but you can add replacement or cancelled. For each type the Binding switch determines whether it is drawn in the calendar with a solid or a dashed border. The type does not determine the fill colour; that belongs to the order status.
- The Confirm and close button closes the proposal and creates assignments for the technicians on the chosen date.
- The fill colour shows the order status, the border whether the appointment is confirmed.
- An appointment can also have a specific time if you agree on an hour.

A multi-day job is one appointment
You enter a three-day installation in the New appointment dialog as the scope Whole day with a Day range of 3. One appointment is created across three consecutive days, not three separate ones, and the calendar draws it as a continuous bar. Weekends inside are dimmed so it is clear when work actually takes place.
- Dragging in the calendar changes the day of the appointment; who goes is changed in the Technician plan or the Technician schedule.
- Clicking an appointment opens its card, from where you edit it or open the whole order.
- Deleting an appointment does not delete the assignment, it only detaches it; work done remains.
- The Expand to full page button stretches the calendar across the whole screen; changes made by colleagues appear without reloading the page.

A dashboard instead of searching
After logging in you see what is on today, what is on this week, who is assigned where and which offers are waiting for your confirmation. The “mine” filter narrows the view to your appointments.
- Offers where the customer has already chosen have a badge with the number of days waiting.
- Offers about to expire report themselves so they do not lapse by accident.
- Recent activity shows what has changed in the company since yesterday.

Frequently asked questions
Can we add our own appointment types?
Yes. You add and rename appointment types in Settings and the Binding switch determines whether they are drawn in the calendar with a solid border like a confirmed one or a dashed one like a proposed one.
Is the calendar shown on a phone?
On a phone, instead of the monthly calendar you see a clear agenda by day. On a computer you have the month and the week.
Can I have an appointment without an assigned technician?
Yes. An appointment is a commitment to the customer; you add technicians to it later. So a date can be agreed during the call and the assignment sorted out afterwards.
